The muon g-2 puzzle refers to the discrepancy between the measurement of the muon anomalous magnetic

moment, the phenomenological determination using dispersion relations, and the lattice QCD determination. New experiments

like the MUonE and E34 (J-PARC) will shed light into this puzzle in the incoming years. If the discrepancy between theory and

experiments increase, this could represent evidence for new physics. I discuss the implications of such new physics on the 

physics case for a muon collider (MuC). Low energy MuC can probe light weakly coupled solutions to g-2, whereas multi-TeV colliders are able to probe heavy strongly coupled states responsible for the puzzle.
