I will review how the major opportunities identified in AI for HEP have evolved in the last few years. I’ll describe some of recent exploratory work that I’ve been involved in with automated hypothesis testing, self-supervised learning, multimodal foundation models, generative AI for LQCD, and transformers for scattering amplitudes. I’ll end with some thoughts about my experiences with Claude Code and thoughts on the future of agentic AI. |
